TenMarks provides a FREE learning experience for students to practice and review math concepts that have been previously learned. This allows for students to build on their learning both at school and at home.
Just as the iTunes Store says it; Khan Academy allows you to learn almost anything for FREE. It covers a massive number of topics, including K-12 math, science topics such as biology, chemistry, and physics, and even the humanities with playlists on finance and history. Khan Academy's materials and resources are available to you completely free of charge.
BrainPOP is a wonderful website that allows you to select videos about specific topics in the areas of science, social studies, english, math, arts & music, health, and tech. Your child can watch the video of choice and then complete a quiz about the video. There are a variety of free movies to watch or you can decide to purchase this program. Free one month trial!
IXL is very similar to TenMarks Math in that it allows your child to select a grade level and specific topic of choice to practice. This website has endless math topics for your child to practice, it will also send you weekly email progress updates. Cost is $9.95/month or $79.00 for the year. Free one month trail!
Sheppard Software will be your goto site this year for social studies geography. Your child will use this site to study the countries, capitals, and physical features of specific regions around the world. .
